KTedServices website and cookies

The KTedServices website does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or other non-essential browser storage. The website's own HTML and JavaScript do not set cookies or store identifiers in the browser.

If optional analytics, advertising, embedded services, or other non-essential technologies are introduced, KTedServices, LLC will update this policy and provide appropriate choices before those technologies are activated.

Principles shared by the three public Receipt Tracker apps

• KTedServices, LLC does not sell user data or sensitive information.
• Receipt records are stored locally on the device by default.
• Camera, image, and file access occurs after the user chooses a related action.
• The apps do not continuously monitor the camera or media library.
• Exports and backups can contain financial details and images; the user controls and protects copies stored outside the app.
• KTedServices, LLC does not operate a general-purpose receipt-storage server.

Data users may enter

Depending on the public app and features used, users may enter or generate merchant names, dates, prices, taxes, categories, comments, reimbursement status, report and business names, vehicle details, receipt images, OCR text, PDF files, CSV files, ZIP backups, and, for Receipt Tracker Pro: Expenses, synchronization metadata.

Receipt Tracker: Expenses

Receipt Tracker: Expenses is local-first, supports up to 25 saved receipts, and does not require an account. It does not include advertising, OCR, or direct Google Drive login and sync.

Receipt Tracker Lite: Expenses

Receipt Tracker Lite: Expenses is a separate one-time paid app. It is local-first, has no advertising, supports receipts within device capacity, and provides Recently Deleted recovery for up to 30 days. It does not include OCR, require an account, or connect directly to Google Drive.

Receipt Tracker Pro: Expenses

Receipt Tracker Pro: Expenses is local-first and adds receipt scanning, on-device OCR, advanced analytics, Recently Deleted recovery, and optional Google Drive backup and sync.

Google Play subscription and verification

Receipt Tracker Pro: Expenses requires a monthly Google Play subscription. Google Play provides localized product details and purchase state. For secure entitlement verification, the app sends the purchase token, package name, and subscription product identifier to KTedServices, LLC's verification service, which checks the purchase with the Google Play Developer API. KTedServices, LLC does not receive full payment-card details.

Subscription state may include active, grace period, account hold, canceled, or expired. Full access continues during a Google Play grace period. During account hold or after expiration, existing local records remain viewable and exportable, but new reports, receipts, and subscription benefits specific to Receipt Tracker Pro: Expenses are unavailable until entitlement is restored.

Scanner and OCR

The Receipt Tracker Pro: Expenses scanner accepts one receipt page from the camera or gallery. Google ML Kit document scanning can crop and filter the image, and ML Kit Text Recognition extracts text for review.

ML Kit processes input images and resulting OCR output on the device. ML Kit may contact Google for bug fixes, model updates, hardware compatibility, and API performance or utilization metrics.

Google Drive authorization and storage

Drive backup and sync is optional. Receipt Tracker Pro: Expenses requests the selected Google account email and access limited to its private Drive application-data area. This does not grant ordinary access to Drive documents, photos, or folders.

Drive backup can include reports, receipt metadata, images, OCR text stored in receipt records, deletion markers, backup indexes, and synchronization metadata. Data is transferred over encrypted network connections.

Receipt Tracker Pro: Expenses' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

• Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing Drive backup, sync, restore, diagnostics, and repair.
• Google user data is not used to serve advertisements.
• Google user data is not sold or transferred to data brokers or advertising networks.
• Human access is limited to user-authorized support, security or abuse investigation, legal compliance, or other cases permitted by Google's policy.

Optional diagnostics and support

If a user chooses to contact support or enable an optional diagnostic feature, information may include app version, device model, Android version, crash details, and information voluntarily provided. Users should avoid sending receipt images, financial information, PDFs, or backups unless support requests a narrowly scoped item.

Storage, retention, and deletion

• Local records remain until the user deletes them, clears app data, or uninstalls the app.
• Receipt Tracker: Expenses deletion is immediate within the app unless a prior Backup ZIP is available.
• Receipt Tracker Lite: Expenses and Receipt Tracker Pro: Expenses keep deleted receipts in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days unless permanently deleted earlier.
• Files exported or shared outside the app must be deleted from their destination separately.
• Disconnecting Google Drive stops future Receipt Tracker Pro: Expenses sync but does not automatically delete existing app backup data.
• Drive retention is also subject to the user's Google account, available storage, and Google policies.

Security

The apps use Android platform protections, local application storage, scoped file sharing, and encrypted network transport where network services are used. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should maintain independent backups of important records.

Children

Receipt Tracker Apps are general receipt-organization tools and are not directed to children. KTedServices, LLC does not knowingly request children to submit information.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when app features, SDK behavior, legal requirements, or Google policies change. The last-updated date will change when substantive revisions are published.
